ABC Casting Project

What It Is:
The Primetime Casting Department hosts a series of acting showcases in partnership with AFTRA, SAG, Actors Equity and various theater groups which are held in a theatre venue in front of entertainment professionals.  The showcases are not open to the public

How It Works:

The ABC Primetime casting department auditions over 1400 select candidates per year from thousands of submissions received from all over the country. 14-20 actors are then selected to participate in each showcase. Once selected, the actors are paired off with a scene partner.  A professional director works with them on a 3 minute scene to be showcased live for one night.  Past showcase participants have come from the guilds, acting schools, agencies and/or theater companies representing a wide array of regions, cultures, ethnicities including actors with disabilities.

How to Apply:
Previous acting training and/or experience is required but representation is not. Submit resumes and headshots only. No tapes required, or accepted, at this point. Click here for application materials and additional information
